Spain is a mosaic of incredible places: it is a country of gorgeous landscapes and vibrant cities, where lazy siestas punctuate the summer days. Every year, thousands of tourists flock to Spain, located in the southwest of Europe on the Mediterranean coast. From the Basque Country to Andalusia’s Arab heritage, from the museums of Madrid to the streets of Barcelona, from the green of the Asturian countryside to the deep blue water of the Balearic Islands, Spain has much more to offer than the most touristic clichés.
The country is a patchwork of incredible places that stir the soul. Spain is also fascinating to taste its food, soak in its rich history and culture. Thanks to famous Spanish 20th-century artists like Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali, whose works are displayed in museums worldwide, Spanish culture extends far beyond. Spain deserves more than a trip: there is much to see and do in Spain, far from the beaches of the Costa Brava and Costa del Sol, even stunning as they are.
